Kakhovska and Novokakhovska city communities are reportedly the leaders in the TOT of Kherson region in the number of contract soldiers for the Russian army.
This was reported by the pseudo-leader of the temporarily occupied city of Kakhovka, Pavlo Filipchuk.
“Only in these districts (administrative unit of the occupiers, – МОСТ) was the campaigning and explanatory work properly carried out”, – he said.
Earlier we wrote that on the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region the autumn conscription for compulsory military service began on October 1 for men aged 18–30.
Prior to that, in June 2025, the State Duma of the Russian Federation adopted a law that allows persons without Russian citizenship to sign a contract for service in the army.
Earlier, the occupation governor of Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, reported that during the Russian Federation’s spring conscription campaign there were 200 men from Kherson region conscripted into the Russian army.
