Teachers in seven frontline communities in the Kherson region will receive a monthly increased supplement of 4,000 hryvnias.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the corresponding decision.
The list of frontline territorial communities of the region whose teachers work in adverse conditions includes: Kochubeyivska, Muzykivska, Bilozerska, Vysokopilska, Velykooleksandrivska, Dariivska and Chornobaivska.
In total, teachers in 82 frontline communities across Ukraine will receive the increased payment. The rest of the teachers of general secondary education institutions will receive a supplement of 2,000 hryvnias.
To finance these supplements, the government allocated 372.3 million hryvnias in subsidies from the state budget to local budgets.
Recall that the government directed to the regional budget of Kherson Oblast UAH 2.9 million in subsidies for teachers’ supplements for general secondary education institutions.
