A pilot project has started in the Kherson community to support children who were successfully returned from temporarily occupied territories, the Russian Federation, Belarus, and their families.
This was reported on the Telegram channel of the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.
The main goal of the project — to create a safe space where a child can feel protected and regain trust. For this, a specialist remains in constant contact with the family, helping to restore documents, arrange education, and provide medical and psychological support.
The first such specialist was a Kherson resident, Olena. The woman went through a similar experience and has now decided to help other families, the report says.
According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, 12 children who returned from the occupation currently live in the Kherson community.
Recall, recently to territory under Ukrainian control returned a group of children from the temporarily occupied left bank of Kherson region. They are boys and girls aged 10 to 17.
